Description:
4P Voltage Relay.

Installed as part of Juul's electrical distribution boards in the transformerhouse close to the concrete tower of Gedser Wind Turbine. Estimated dating: 1957 - the year Juul launched the Gedser Wind Turbine.

The 4P Voltage Relay label is similar in design to those used on the Control Board/Power Meter and the Voltage Regulator 3 p/n present in the transformer housing. So based on logical reasoning and the quote below, the 4p Voltage Relay is probably manufactured by LK.
"Lauritz Knudsen produced virtually everything electrical - from irons, radios, loudspeakers, electric stoves, electric clocks to electricity meters, electrical distribution boards and high-voltage equipment."

LK Label present on Juul's Control Board/Power Meter - Object ID number: 19570081957
- is similar in design to the label above.

The 4P Voltage Relay is located in the first section of the transformer house, next to a newer Control Board/Power Meter for targeted operation of the Gedser Wind Turbine.

"In 1968, Lauritz Knudsen merged with its biggest competitor on the Danish market, the company NES in Valby, and changed its name to LK-NES. The NES add-on was later deleted, but still lingers in the minds of many Danes.

In 1986, Lauritz Knudsen moved once again outside the Copenhagen city. This time to the Industrial Park in Ballerup, where the company established its current headquarters. In the same period, Lauritz Knudsen had production in Ballerup and an assembly factory in Soroe.

In 1990, Lauritz Knudsen was taken over by the Danish NKT group and a new international strategy was laid out.

With the desire to strengthen its position as one of the leading manufacturers of electrical equipment in Europe, Lauritz Knudsen and the Finnish Ahlstrom group's electrical equipment division merged in 1995 into a 50/50% Danish-Finnish owned electrical group named Lexel A/S."
