This specific Husqvarna sewing machine was distributed by Rothenborg in Copenhagen, Denmark - see the marking on the sewing machine "12 - Rothenborg".
"The founder Aage Rothenborg started the company, A/S Husqvarna Fabrikkernes Generaldepot, as an exclusive distributor of Husqvarna products in 1942, from a domicile on Nicolai Plads in Copenhagen."

The sewing machine clearly shows signs of frequent use: Wear marks on the table top and scratches on the machine where, for example, the "pin cushion" is wrapped around. The key to the cupboard door has been lost. Therefore no access to the treadle pedal function. But in a drawer under the sewing machine, the sewing equipment is still available and within reach.

The Husqvarna treadle sewing machine was donated 2023 by Ivan Heine Snedker, member of the Association: Operation of Gedser Wind Turbine.
